Meet Alvaro
Alvaro born in Zaragoza January 10th 1986 ,but has lived throughout his childhood and adolescence in a small village in the province of Teruel ( Castelserás ) When he was still very young he became interested in competitive sports and with no more than 10 years old he had competed in events such as athletics, table tennis, indoor soccer and mountain biking. Mountain Bike would be the most important sport and the most successful, reaching more than 80 podiums in 6 years of high sport performance, as well as 3 regional Championships in 2002, 2003, 2005. In 2005, he began his career as a sport scientists and sport performance trainer: - Bachelor in Physical Education (University of Valladolid) During those years he practised sports and competed in others sports like Basketball , Football, Volleyball and Rudder (drifters), and played in university leagues. He also removed a lifeguard certificate. In his last year he was awared an Erasmus scholarship to study in Koblenz (Germany) and to finish his internship, where he worked as a Physical Trainer in the profesional soccer club from the city (TuS Koblenz). In the following years Álvaro trained other German league teams, as Lochgau FV ( 2.Bundesliga Women ) , SSV Ulm ( Oberliga ) , SC Hauenstein ( Oberliga ) and SC Sandhausen ( 2. Bundesliga ). During the 2013-2014, Álvaro is working for one of the greatest women soccer teams in the world, 1. FFC Frankfurt, as physical trainer and sports nutritionist. He ist also working with other teams from different disciplines or leagues, as well as individual athletes. Álvaro is preaparing at the same time his doctorate in Germany, investigating with sports supplementation and new technologies to improve physical performance. |
